Beyond generating clean energy, Solsken is committed to being a long-term partner in Tulare County and a good neighbor - supporting the organizations, programs, and events that make local communities strong.

That means protecting natural resources, respecting private property, complying with environmental regulations, restoring temporarily disturbed areas, and working collaboratively with landowners, agencies, and the community throughout the life of the project.

Responsible development starts with transparency, open communication, and meaningful community engagement. We are committed to keeping the public informed throughout every stage of the project, listening to community feedback, and incorporating input whenever possible. By working collaboratively with residents, landowners, local agencies, and stakeholders, we aim to build trust, address concerns, and develop projects that reflect the needs and values of the communities we serve.

‍Based on an independent economic impact analysis prepared in 2025 for a 150 MW solar facility operating for at least 25- years. These figures are conceptual and subject to change based on site control and permitting.

Investing in the community

Working with residents, business owners, and community leaders, the project team is evaluating a range of community support opportunities for potential inclusion in the engagement plan. Areas currently under contemplation include:

  • Labor Union contracts will be negotiated through the development process

  • Education, STEM, and vocational programs, plus scholarships and workforce development

  • County and local agricultural fairs, livestock exhibitions, parades, cultural heritage, and junior livestock auctions

  • Youth sports leagues, tournaments, and school and community youth activities

  • Local facility upgrades, road improvements, and community clean-ups
